Boston, MA
A quick trip back to Boston reminded me how quickly I’ve forgotten what spring feels like in New England. It was already May but there were still periods of wet cold rain. I had to pull out layers I’d forgotten about in Florida, including long black pants and a thick tweed knit jacket.
The only pictures I managed to take were in my friend’s living room (where their dog stole the show) and a surprisingly well-lit bathroom at The Street Bar on Newbury Street.
I get most of my ready-to-wear from vintage resale sites such as Vestaire Collective. I’ve linked some similar options below. In addition, I scored this vintage Bally box leather top handle bag from Ebay. It’s from the 1970’s, back when Bally and Hermes were both making the same bag silhouette. I stopped by the Hermes store near Boston Commons and picked up a twilly scarf to help sell the facade even more.
Outfit details: Celine tweed jacket, Bally vintage top handle, Aritzia effortless pants, random Dillard’s sweater.
